Pink the Rink - Friday October 3, 2014
Tickets are available now! Be sure not to overlook the "Family Package" admission price, $12.00 for your entire family!

Pink the Rink is scheduled for Friday, October 3, 2014 at 6:00 pm at the Frank Southern Center with the IU D3 Hockey Team vs. Ball State. This game is significant as it is Indiana University D3’s first game in their new conference; however, the significance of breast cancer awareness and research is far more imperative. The teams will battle each other to raise awareness and funds for those battling breast cancer.

Collegiate Charities' involvement with various non-profit events have been their most most rewarding, specifically with Pink the Rink and Drop the Puck on Cancer. These events are built around collegiate ice hockey games and based upon countless volunteer hours. It takes a multitude of people, many of whom are Indiana University students, to raise awareness and funds toward finding a cure for all types of cancer. We all know someone or have a close family member that has been affected by cancer. Early detection and awareness is of the utmost importance when fighting this battle.

Drop the Puck on Cancer is an annual philanthropic event at Indiana University. The event is promoted by Collegiate Charities, Dropping the Puck, Bloomington, Indiana, Inc., and several fraternities from Indiana University. Drop the Puck on Cancer raised more than $80,000 within the first three years. Proceeds have been donated to many non-profit corporations including the American Cancer Society, the American Brain Tumor Association, the Bloomington Blades Youth Hockey Association, and the Foundation of Monroe County Schools.
