BBYHA Gear Exchange Email List
What is it?
The BBYHA gear exchange list was created to facilitate gear exchange/wants/needs/sales/free stuff throughout the hockey season. The list will be open to all travel, house and high-school players, and if an IU player made their way on, that is just fine too!
How do I join?
To opt in to the list, email bbyhagearexchange@gmail.com. Indicate in the subject or message that you would like to join.
How do I leave?
If you ever decide that you don't want to receive the messages, e-mail bbyhagearexchange@gmail.com and let us know you want to be removed from the list.
How do I use it?
Simply email bbyhagearexchange@gmail.com (are you sensing the pattern yet?) and describe what you "have" or what you "need". Your message will be redistributed to other participants in the list.
Please note, all gear exchanged is at the discretion of parents/guardians, and the BBYHA is not responsible for the condition/use/safety of the gear.
Equipment Rental
Scheduled equipment rental sessions have concluded for the 2011-2012 season. If you are still interested in renting equipment, please contact your team manager.
American Development Model
The Bloomington Blades Youth Hockey Association endorses the USA Hockey American Development Model and will be implementing it throughout our program in the 2011-2012 Season. The ADM provides age-appropriate guidelines that are intended to help our kids enjoy hockey and develop their skills in a way that is appropriate for their stage of development. Paul Prather will be working with our coaches to implement the new ADM guidelines throughout the season. For more information on the American Development Model, visit www.admkids.com.
USA Hockey Registration
All travel hockey players must be registered with USA Hockey before beginning practice for the 2011-2012 Season. Player registration can be completed online at the USA Hockey website. BBYHA asks that you register your child with USA Hockey no later than August 16, 2011. Your child may not practice during the pre-season unless USA Hockey registration has been completed. The Buckeye Travel Hockey League rosters are also due in early August and all players must be registered with USA Hockey before they can be placed on a Buckeye League roster. Once you have completed your registration online, you will receive an e-mail confirmation.
